FAFSA Help

Jones College and Laurel-Jones County Library will help students and parents fill out their FAFSA paperwork for college financial aid on Tuesday evening, March 21, at 5:00-6:00 pm and 6:00-7:00 pm. There is no cost for this service, and help is available anywhere in the application process. Please refer to the information below and the checklist for the required information needed to begin and complete the FAFSA Financial Aid process.

Information for students/parents:The first thing you need to do is go to www.studentaid.gov and create an FSA ID. Both student and parent will need one. You have to use a separate email and phone number for each account. The FSA ID is tied to your social security number, so if you have ever created one in the past, you will use the same one.
