Saturday, June 26, 2 - 4 PM, Open house at the Deason Home in Ellisville, MS. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Laurel, at 410 Deason Street. The Deason Home is the oldest home in Jones County. It was built circa 1845 and has been beautifully restored by the Tallahala Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Tours include information about our county’s early history and first residents. All proceeds go to the upkeep of the home.
