You're invited to the Porch Party!
Join us on the lawn of the Laurel Mercantile to rewatch some of your favorite episodes of Home Town and listen to stories from homeowners from seasons past. Arrive early and stay late to hear live music to experience the magic of a Mississippi summer night.
Beginning at 1 PM on Friday, June 18, enjoy an all-day screening of HGTV Home Town’s season five. Plus, you can use the afternoon to check off your sight-seeing list, as you shop around Laurel’s favorite boutiques and local stores, cruise the historic avenues and join us back for the main event at 6:00 PM.
The Porch Party's main event will be a special showing of the HGTV Home Town pilot episode starring the Tew family. Bring your lawn chair, hear various homeowner experiences and the fascinating story of how HGTV Home Town came to be.
Lawn chairs or picnic blankets are strongly encouraged for event viewing. Event is rain or shine.
SCHEDULE:
1:00-6:00 PM: Past Home Town episodes playing on the big screen
6:00 PM: Porch Party begins with live music & entertainment
6:45 PM: Pilot episode replay with live interviews from homeowners and show personalities
8:00 PM: Live music continues
