About John Stumph:
John is a native of Jones County, Mississippi. He graduated from Northeast Jones High School and received his accounting degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
John worked for thirty-two years for The Blain Companies, a highway contractor in Mount Olive, Mississippi. While there, he served as Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Trustee for the company’s retirement Plan. John also served two terms as President of the Mississippi Chapter of CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association).
John owns JS Accounting and Information Systems Consulting LLC. JS Accounting provides sales, setup, and training for a diverse group of clients in southern Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Since becoming a QuickBooks ProAdvisor in 2005, John has volunteered with Chambers of Commerce, Entrepreneurial Centers, and State agencies to provide educational classes for business start-ups and small businesses. In 2012, he received the Mississippi Small Business Financial Services Champion Award of the Year, which shows his strong support for small businesses.
