The Laurel High School Student Council is excited to announce its Inaugural Autism Awareness 5K Color Run, an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness and support for Autism. The event, themed “Puzzle Pieces in Motion,” will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at Laurel High School.
We invite members of the media to cover this uplifting community event and help spread the word. Your support will highlight the importance of Autism Awareness.
Pre-registration must be completed by Monday, March 31, 2025, but registration can also be completed on the event day.

⏰ Schedule:
🔹 Registration: 7:00 AM
🔹 Opening Ceremony: 7:45 AM
🔹 Run Begins: 8:00 AM
The 5K Color Run is open to individuals, teams of 10, civic groups, and social organizations. Participants can walk or run, and festive awards will be given for categories such as Best Dressed Individual, Best Dressed Team, and First Completer.

👥 Team of 10: $225
With a goal of 150 participants, the Student Council is calling on the community to come together in support of Autism awareness. We would love for local media outlets to join us in promoting and covering this event and sharing this impactful story.
